Eastern Medical College was established in 2005 and serves as a private medical college in Bangladesh. The main campus is located next to the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway at Kabila, Burichang Upazila, Comilla District, Chittagong Division. Both Chittagong University and Chittagong Medical University are connected with it. A Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree is available at the end of the five-year curriculum. After graduation, every graduate is required to do a one-year internship. The degree is acknowledged by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.

A hospital with 600 beds is located on the Kabila campus. The college provides a five-year program that is approved by the Chittagong University of Chittagong Medical University and leads to a Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. A one-year internship is necessary after completing the last professional exam.

Eastern Medical College Syllabus

Bangladesh MBBS syllabus is similar to India. Eastern Medical College Eligibility Criteria

Optional subjects shall be considered if GPA is below 5.

Admission Procedure Of Eastern Medical College 2023

1. All foreign students will have to pay $1,500.00 (One thousand five hundred US dollars) for registration at Chittagong Medical University (CMU), BM&DC, and other fees by 30 June 2023. Students have to pay all Examination & other fees imposed by the Chittagong Medical University during the tenure of the Academic Course.

2. Students who fail to come out successful during a regular period of 5 years will become irregular. They have to pay $ 1,000.00 (One thousand US dollars) as a session fee per year in addition to the usual monthly tuition fee.

3. If a student wants to discontinue his/her studies within one year after getting admitted into the college, he/she will have to pay 65% of the agreed total cost of education before getting clearance

4. Certificate from the college. 4. Foreign students interested in undergoing Internship Training in Eastern Medical College Hospital will have to pay additional fees per prevailing rules of Govt. of Bangladesh.
